{"id":3510,"date":"2021-04-21T23:17:21","date_gmt":"2021-04-21T23:17:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/?p=3510"},"modified":"2021-10-14T06:31:03","modified_gmt":"2021-10-14T06:31:03","slug":"how-to-connect-a-custom-domain-on-groovefunnels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/how-to-connect-a-custom-domain-on-groovefunnels\/","title":{"rendered":"How To Connect A Custom Domain On GrooveFunnels"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#fbf3de\"><strong>UPDATE<\/strong>: Connecting custom domains on Groovefunnels has changed. <a href=\"https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/how-to-connect-your-custom-domain-publish-to-groove-cm\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"3826\">Click here to read the updated tutorial.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-ef13f76f gb-headline-text\">Custom Domains On GroovePages<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>GrooveFunnels has recently updated the way you connect and publish your custom domains on GroovePages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You no longer need to create your Cloudflare account as you will be using Groove\u2019s cloudflare account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you followed my previous training and published your domain using Cloudflare, you don\u2019t have to make any changes &#8211; those domains are still available within GroovePages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With your free <span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">GrooveFunnels account, you can add up to 3 custom domains in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/groovepages\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">GroovePages<\/span><\/a><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"><a href=\"https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/groovepages\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\">.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">To have unlimited custom domains, you will need to be on the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/lifetime\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">GrooveFunnels lifetime package<\/span><\/a><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> &#8211; this will allow you to connect as many domains as you like. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-button-wrapper gb-button-wrapper-b325973b\">\n\n<a class=\"gb-button gb-button-91488c75 gb-button-text\" href=\"https:\/\/hi.groovefunnels.review\/freegroovefunnelspage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Create Free Account<\/strong><\/a>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-1969e59b gb-headline-text\"><strong>1. Click on Add Domain<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Domain URL: <\/strong>Enter your domain without the https so in your case, it would be yourdomain.com<\/li><li> <strong>Which app would you like to use this URL for? <\/strong>you can have this domain connected to Groovepages, GrooveSell for custom domain checkout URL or GrooveSell for link tracking. Change Name Servers At Domain Registry<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The next page will provide you with instructions on how to connect your domain to Groove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"515\" height=\"314\" src=\"https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/groovepages-groovefunnels-name-servers.png\" alt=\"groovepages groovefunnels name servers\" class=\"wp-image-3514\" srcset=\"https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/groovepages-groovefunnels-name-servers.png 515w, https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/groovepages-groovefunnels-name-servers-300x183.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 515px) 100vw, 515px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>You will need to login to your domain registry and update your name servers Groove\u2019s name server<\/li><li>Your domain registry is wherever you bought your domains &#8211; it could namecheap, godaddy etc<\/li><li>If you don\u2019t know who your domain registry is, you can do a search on <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">WHOIS<\/span> and it will tell you where your domain is held<\/li><li>If you bought your domains at namecheap, once you login you can find your domains in &#8220;Domains list&#8221; &gt; &#8220;Domains tab&#8221; &gt; in &#8220;Name servers&#8221; click on the drop down arrow and select custom DNS.<\/li><li>Enter GrooveFunnels name servers as per the image below<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"702\" height=\"358\" src=\"https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Changing-name-servers-at-namecheap.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3515\" srcset=\"https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Changing-name-servers-at-namecheap.png 702w, https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Changing-name-servers-at-namecheap-300x153.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 702px) 100vw, 702px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Then click on the check mark button <\/li><li>This will take up to 48 hours to connect to Groove servers but usually happens within 10mins.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-658efce9 gb-headline-text\"><strong>4. Editing DNS Records <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Now let\u2019s say you want to edit your name servers by adding or deleting records, you just click on \u201cedit\u201d<\/li><li>You can see here that you can click on \u201cAdd or delete records\u201d.<\/li><li>For example, I still have a C name record still pointing to my domain registry pork bun, so I can click on \u201cdelete\u201d and confirm<\/li><li>Once you\u2019ve added or deleted any records, go back here and click update again.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"586\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Deleting-records-in-Groovefunnels-name-server.jpg\" alt=\"Deleting records in Groovefunnels name server\" class=\"wp-image-3519\" srcset=\"https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Deleting-records-in-Groovefunnels-name-server.jpg 586w, https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Deleting-records-in-Groovefunnels-name-server-300x161.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 586px) 100vw, 586px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-bed74f6f gb-headline-text\">6. Publishing Your GroovePages Site On Custom Domain<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Once you\u2019re ready to publish your site on GroovePages, click on &#8220;Publish&#8221;, under the drop down arrow, you will now see the domain you just added available.<\/li><li>Select your domain and click on publish as per the screenshot below.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"541\" height=\"328\" src=\"https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Publishing-custom-domain-on-groovepages.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3520\" srcset=\"https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Publishing-custom-domain-on-groovepages.png 541w, https:\/\/groovefunnels.review\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Publishing-custom-domain-on-groovepages-300x182.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 541px) 100vw, 541px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">It will take a few minutes to go live on this domain. <\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Then you will see a URL link you can click on to see the your groovepages design published on your own custom domain.<\/span><\/li><li>Your domain is now connected to groove pages and has the SSL certificate installed.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To learn how to add a sub-domain to your root domain, watch the tutorial below. If you&#8217;re using GroovePages or GrooveFunnels Cloudflare account (not with Cloudflare directly):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>DELETE ANY DNS RECORDS that link to your domain registry ie namecheap \/ godaddy etc<\/li><li> DELETE any IP addresses that are not related to GroovePages as they may be your domain registry&#8217;s IP address.<\/li><li>WHERE TO DELETE THIS?
